With its varied terrain and large reception areas the site has something for everyone, and as a result various four-wheel drive product launches have been held here, as have dealer events, some of the wildest challenge events and much more.
Location : Tong Village near Bradford and Leeds. Click hear for a map. Features :- Rubi-Tong Trail - a long rock crawling area - probably the 1st in the country.
- Mud - Boat loads of it and it sticks well.
- Side slopes - enough for several brown trouser moments. However these are easily avoidable.
- Water - There are 2 large lakes which always draw a crowd. The smaller of the lakes can often be tackled without a snorkel. The larger of the two require very good door seals, a snorkel and it would be a good idea to attach a rope first if you plan on driving straight through the middle.
- Wooded areas - Several wooded areas run along side the main tracks. These tracks are of varying degrees of complexity. However there are very few passing places on some of the tracks.
Additional Features not related to driving :- A tap and hose pipe. However at one of the events I've marshalled the organisers arranged a pressure washer. It really is needed.
- A camping area.
